LAKE PLACID, N.Y. -- Alex Bilodeau won the mens moguls gold medal and fellow Canadian Justine Dufour-Lapointe took the womens title Wednesday at a World Cup freestyle skiing event. Montreals Bilodeau, the reigning Olympic champion, took the mens title with a score of 25.72. He said he made some mistakes on his winning run and thought he might be surpassed by teammate Mikael Kingsbury. But Kingsbury almost went off the course on his final run and ended up sixth. Americans Patrick Deneen and Bradley Wilson finished second and third respectively. Dufour-Lapointe, from Montreal, put together a score of 23.90 on her final run to take the womens title. She came back from a distant 15th in qualifying to overtake Americans Heidi Kloser and Hannah Kearney for gold. In other Canadian results, Maxime Dufour-Lapointe was seventh and Andi Naude eighth. Its the second-last World Cup moguls event before the Sochi Olympics. The World Cup circuit takes a break following Sundays competition at Val Saint-Come, Que. Pagan homered, tripled and drove in three runs on a perfect night at the plate against his former team, leading Yusmeiro Petit and the Giants past the New York Mets 8-5 on Tuesday. "A great return here to New York," Giants manager Bruce Bochy said about Pagan. "Hes done such a nice job since hes come back. I think weve seen the difference he makes in our club, and he certainly showed that tonight." The switch-hitter went 3 for 3 with two walks and scored twice for the defending World Series champions, who have won four straight and seven of nine to improve to 70-81. His tiebreaking homer in the seventh inning made a winner of Petit (4-0) in his second start since nearly pitching a perfect game. "Hes a clutch player," Bochy said. "I think we would have been in a better situation than the one were in now if wed had Angel." Before the game, the Mets announced that Matt Harvey will try to rehab his injured right elbow without reconstructive surgery -- a move the All-Star ace hopes is going to keep him on the mound next season. "We have to be optimistic, because he is optimistic," New York manager Terry Collins said. "If hes able to be successful, that would be a great find for the organization headed into next year." Pagan homered off Sean Henn (0-1) leading off the seventh to give the Giants a 5-4 lead. It was his first home run since an inside-the-park shot that ended a 6-5 victory over Colorado on May 25. After that, Pagan missed 82 games with an injured left hamstring that required surgery. He returned on Aug. 30. "I wanted to come back so the team finished strong and we can feel good about ourselves," Pagan said. "I know were not going to go to the post-season or whatever, but if we finish strong I think we can reflect for next year and get ready, use this year as a motivation to prepare. I think we have a good enough team, we cant forget that." Pagan spent four seasons with the Mets before they traded him to San Francisco in December 2011. He helped the Giannts win a championship last year and then re-signed with them for $40 million over four years.dddddddddddd "No hard feelings," Pagan said. "When I played here, I gave it all." Tony Abreu added an RBI double against Gonzalez Germen in the eighth, and Pagans triple off the wall in right-centre made it 7-4. Hunter Pence singled home a run in the ninth for his 20th RBI in his last seven games. Giants reliever Sandy Rosario issued a leadoff walk in the ninth and left with a strained right hip. Sergio Romo gave up an RBI single to Daniel Murphy before retiring Lucas Duda and pinch-hitter Andrew Brown with the bases loaded to end it after 3 hours, 55 minutes. Mets starter Zack Wheeler threw 107 pitches over five innings against his former club. The rookie walked a career-high six -- four in the second inning. In all, seven New York pitchers combined to issue a season-high 10 walks. Wheeler was drafted sixth overall by the Giants out of high school in 2009. Two years later, they traded him to the Mets in a deal for Carlos Beltran. The 23-year-old right-hander threw a gem in San Francisco on July 10, allowing one run and three hits over seven innings in his fifth major league start. "He just didnt have his command," catcher Travis dArnaud said. "He had a great bullpen. I thought it was going to be a fun one for him. It just didnt work out that way." Petit, once a Mets prospect, came within one strike of a perfect game Sept. 6 against Arizona but finished with a one-hit shutout. The right-hander, who beat Wheeler when they matched up in the minors April 9, gave up four runs and seven hits in six innings. NOTES: Giants 2B Marco Scutaro went for an MRI on his ailing left pinkie and its possible he could miss the rest of the season. For now, he is day to day. ... DArnaud left in the fourth with a sore right shoulder after he was hit by Pences foul ball in the second. Anthony Recker replaced dArnaud, dinged up several times in the past few weeks. ... Mets 3B David Wright (strained right hamstring) is unlikely to return during the three-game series. This weekend in Philadelphia is a possibility, Collins said. VANCOUVER -- Roberto Luongo wont have any family joining him next month when he suits up for Canada at the Winter Olympics. The same goes for Swedens Daniel Sedin. The Vancouver Canucks teammates are both concerned over security at the Games in Sochi, Russia, after a series of threats and terrorist attacks in the region. Two suicide bombers killed 34 people in the southern Russian city of Volgograd in December, and officials say they are hunting three more potential attackers -- including one believed to be in Sochi. "Its definitely on my mind, Im not going to lie," Luongo said after practice on Wednesday. "I think were all a little bit concerned. Were definitely going to keep an eye on it over the next few weeks." Sedin, who is set to compete for Sweden along with his twin brother Henrik, said he was "absolutely" concerned about the news coming out of Russia, including email threats on Wednesday against a handful of European countries set to participate at the Olympics. The threats were largely dismissed as a hoax, but the concern over security in Sochi is serious. "We talk about it quite a bit. Its nothing you can really joke about," said Sedin. "Its in the back of your head for sure." Luongo, the odds on favourite to start for Canada in its first game Feb. 13 against Norway, and Sedin both said safety is the main reason their families wont be travelling to Russia. Sedin added that if family members wanted to join him and his brother, he would discourage them from making the trip. An Islamic militant group in Dagestan -- which is located about 500 kilometres from Sochi -- claimed responsibility for the bombings in Volgograd in a video posted on Sunday. The video also contained a threat to strike the Olympics. Penguins captain Sidney Crosby voiced similar concerns to those of Luongo and Sedin to reporters in Pittsburgh on Sunday. "Obviously everybody watches the news and knows that theres been things happening fairly close to there," said Crosby, who will captain the Canadian team. "From what weve been told, I think theyre going to do everything they can to make sure its safe and secure. Were going over to play and focus on that. "Its not something everyones totally worried about, but I think its hard not to think about it when things are happening kind of close to there." Luongo is not the only Canadian Olympian advising his family to stay at home. Fellow goaltender Mike Smith doesnt want concern over his young family to affect his play while in Sochi. "Me having two young kids, my wifes also expecting number three, theyre not going to go. Its not worth it," said Smith on Wednesday before his Phoenix Coyotes played the Calgary Flames. "Its not worth it for myself, thinking about is she okay whenever Im not with her. Its something thats unfortunate but thats just how it is." Toronto Maple Leafs forward James van Riemsdyk, who will suit up for the United States in Sochi, said back in December that American hockey officials told him that security will be "very tight." "I know they mentioned things about different actions they were going to take as far as making sure everythings secure," he said. "It seemed like they were on top of all that." Minnesota Wild defenceman Ryan Suter, who will also play for the Americans, said after practice Wednesday that his wife and two young children wont be travelling to Russia. The long trip is part of the reason, but Suter said recent news about terrorist threats made the decision "a little bit easier." Another American Olympian, Suters friend and Wild teammate Zach Parise, also advised his parents and relatives not to come. He said the situation is "nerve wracking, thats for sure." Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kanes parents travelled to Vancouver in 2010 to cheer for him and Team USA. He said Wednesday his mother, a sister and his girlfriend are planning to come to Russia, despite the safety concerns. "They understand whats going on," Kane said. "Its their choice to go over there, and they wanted to. Ill take the support for sure." Kane said hes not worried about security in Sochi. "You hear different things about it, so obviously youre going to think about it," he said. "But at the end of the day, what can we really do about it? Its not our job to worry about that stuff. If something happens, its completely out of our control. If youre worrying about that, then your heads in the wrong place. I think we have to be worried about going over going there and playing well as a country and a team and enjoying your time over there, too." The same goes for Kanes teammate, Jonathan Toews, a member of Team Canada. Toews said his parents and girlfriend will be in Sochi, despite "that thought in their head" about the danger. "Everyone is doing everything they can to make sure there are no dangerous situations. I think our families will be pretty close to where we are in the village so thatll be a little comfort," Toews said. "We just have to enjoy it and be confident everything will be all right." Reid, from Calgary, was third with a two-run time of one minute 58.49 seconds. Yarnold took gold in 1:57.53 and Pikus-Pace won silver in 1:58.10. Reid, who won bronze earlier this season in Park City, Utah, now has seven career World Cup medals. "Im really happy with today. I had two good pushes and my runs were smooth," said Reid, who was recently named to the 2014 Canadian Olympic team. "Ive had some up-and-down results in Winterberg so to be back on the podium is important for me. "This is a bit of a lucky track because weather plays such a huge factor and the track always deteriorates." Yarnold had a 5.34-second start to begin her second run, 0.22 seconds faster than Pikus-Pace, and rode that momentum the rest of the way.dddddddddddd Mellisa Hollingsworth of Eckville, Alta. was tied in sixth place and Calgarys Robynne Thompson was 17th. Reid won five medals last season, including a third-place finish at the 2013 world championships. She is currently fourth in the overall standings. "It is a big deal for me to get back on the podium on a European track," she said. "The end goal is obviously to be on the podium in Sochi, but the leadup is very important for me. "Knowing Im having success along the way and that Im exactly where I want to be with my pushes and sliding is a confidence booster for me." Yarnold leads the standings with 1,085 points, 225 more than Pikus-Pace -- who lost exactly that many points when she was disqualified after finishing first in the season opener at Calgary. Britains Shelly Rudman is third overall. FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Falcons running back Steven Jackson, who has missed the last four games with a hamstring injury, is expected to practice on Wednesday. The news raised hopes around the practice facility that he will play this week at Arizona. But coach Smith cautiously hedged, saying Monday the Falcons "anticipate" Jackson will return to the teams first practice of the week. The running back has been held out since pulling the hamstring on Sept. 15 against the Rams. Smith said Jackson will be watched closely, especially on Wednesday. "This is all based on what the doctor will say in terms of how much he will participate in practice as we go through the week," Smith said. "When we left out of here on Friday, everything was very good in terms of his testing and the opportunity to return to play. "We are anticipating well get him in and well see how he handles it. Youve got to go in and take it one day at a time when youre coming back from an injury. Obviously youre not going to go out there and have him participate fully in a practice the first day hes back." Smith said adjustments and corrections made during the bye week played a big role in Atlantas 31-23 win over Tampa Bay on Sunday. Smith said he and his staff spent the bye week "looking at everything we do" before the Falcons ended their three-game losing streak. "A number of things we did during the bye week I think paid dividends," he said. Some of the biggest changes were on defence, including a deeper rotation on the defensive front with rookie defensive ends Stansly Maponga and Malliciah Goodman added to the mix. Maponga was limited in training camp while recovering from ankle surgery. The Falcons used the bye week to add depth to the defensive line rotation. "I thought it worked very well for us," Smith said. "We had much better pressure. We were able to sack the quarterback three times. We had opportunities for a couple other plays, but I thought it was nice to see some of the younger guys stepping up." Also, rookie cornerbacks Desmond Trufant and Robert Alford had new roles with Trufant playing the nickel back and Alford moving outside in passing situations. Smith said the Falcons also wanted to play more of an attacking style on defence. The more aggressive style showed when safeties William Moore and Thomas DeCoud each blitzed on Tampa Bays second play of the game. Moore sacked quarterback Mike Glennon, forcing a fumble, and DeCoud returned the recovery 30 yards for a touchdown. Defensive co-ordinator Mike Nolan moved to the field from the press box level for the game so he could have better communication with the players, including the two-safety blitz which produced the defensive touchdown. "It was a great play call by coach Nolan," Moore said. "He called it and we executed it perfectly and got a big turnover." The offence also made some changes. Darius Johnson was promoted from the practice squad to add depth at receiver following Julio Jones season-ending foot injury and Roddy Whites hamstring and ankle injuries. White was inactive for the first time in his nine-year career. Johnson had two catches and Drew Davis had a 24-yard catch, his first of the season. Harry Douglas led Atlanta with seven catches for 149 yards and a touchdown. Smith wouldnt update Whites status on Monday. Jacksons return could provide another boost for the Falcons (2-4), who managed only 18 yards rushing against the Buccaneers. Jackson, 30, signed a three-year, $12 million deal with Atlanta after posting eight straight seasons with more than 1,000 yards rushing at St. Louis. Jacquizz Rodgers and Jason Snelling have shared the carries the last four games. Rodgers caught two touchdown passes from Matt Ryan but neither had success running the ball against the Buccaneers. The Falcons biggest gain on the ground was only seven yards. The good news was Ryan was not sacked while completing 20 of 26 passes for 273 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. "I thought our pass protection probably was as good as it has been all season long," Smith said. "Obviously we have to do better running the football." You can watch the game on TSN at 7pm et/4pm pt and listen to the game on TSN Radio 690 in Montreal. After starting the month of November on an 0-3-1 slide, the Canadiens have recorded wins in three of their last five outings (3-1-1). However, Montreal has also lost four of six and seven of its past 10 games in Washington. With the Canadiens playing on back-to-back days, Peter Budaj will get the start tonight while Carey Price is scheduled to play Saturday against Pittsburgh. Budaj is 0-2-1 with a 2.95 goals against average in four career outings against the Capitals. Montreal turned in its best offensive performance of the season in its most recent trip to the ice, setting a season-high in goals with Tuesdays 6-2 home victory over Minnesota. Max Pacioretty scored the first three goals of the game to notch his second career hat trick and lead the way in the rout of the Wild. Pacioretty had just two goals in 12 games this season before more than doubling his total with Tuesdays outburst. The American winger fired a career-high 10 shots on goal against the Wild. "Ive missed a lot of good opportunities lately and it started getting in my head that I couldnt score," Pacioretty told his teams official website after the game. Michael Bournival, Daniel Briere and Alex Galchenyuk also lit the lamp for the Canadiens, while Carey Price made 25 saves for the win. Montreal, which is playing three of its next four games on the road, is just 1-3-0 as the visiting team in November. The Capitals will try bouncee back after having their momentum halted the last time out.dddddddddddd The Capitals had won three in a row and scored four times in each game during that hot streak before getting dealt a 4-0 home loss by the Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday. It marked just the second time this season Washington had been blanked and the first time since the New York Rangers recorded a 2-0 win in D.C. on Oct. 16. Washington also was outshot by a wide 40-18 margin in Wednesdays loss, which ended a six-game home winning streak for the Caps and dropped them to 8-4-0 at the Verizon Center this season. The club hadnt lost on home ice since the 2-0 setback versus the Rangers last month. While Marc-Andre Fleury needed only to make 18 stops to record the shutout for Pittsburgh, Capitals netminder Braden Holtby turned aside 36-of-40 shots in a losing effort. The Pens fired 32 shots at Holtby through the first two periods alone and held a 3-0 edge after 40 minutes of action. "Theres lots of ways to lose games, and thats not really one way you want to do it," Washington head coach Adam Oates said after the disappointing effort. Washington could get a boost from the return of defenseman Mike Green on Friday. The offensive-minded blueliner sat out the past three games with a lower-body injury, but expects to play tonight. Green has 11 points -- all assists -- in 19 games this season. The Caps hope Green can help them get back in the win column tonight in the finale of a three-game homestand. Washington has had tons of success against the Canadiens in recent years, winning two straight and eight of the past nine overall meetings between the clubs. GLENDALE, Ariz. -- When Mike Ribeiro first arrived in Phoenix, he wasnt sure how he would fit in, on the ice and in the locker room. Having the added honus of being the scoring saviour on a team thats needed one for a decade didnt help much. Once Ribeiro found his comfort level with his new teammates and role on his new team, the points started flowing -- and havent stopped since. Ribeiro scored two goals for the second straight game and extended his points streak to seven games, lifting the Coyotes to a 4-2 win over the Calgary Flames Tuesday night. "It took a while for me to get comfortable with the guys and for them to know me and, I guess to like me," Ribeiro said. "So now that we did that, Im comfortable and its fun to come to work." Ribeiro had a quiet start in the desert after signing a four-year, $22 million contract, failing to register a point his first three games. Realizing he had been thinking too much instead of reacting, Ribeiro shifted his game into a new, freewheeling gear, starting with an assist in Phoenixs 3-0 win over Detroit on Oct. 10 that kick-started what had been an awful start to a five-game road trip. Ribeiro hasnt stopped scoring since, notching two goals against the Red Wings in Phoenixs comeback victory on Saturday and two more against Calgary, including the game-winner just a few minutes after the Flames tied it in the third period. Rob Klinkhammer added an empty-net goal for Phoenix, which has earned 12 of a possible 14 points in its past seven games. The Coyotes, with 14 points (6-2-2), are off to their best start since opening the 2000-01 season 7-1-2. "He likes to make a difference in games and hes doing that for us right now," Coyotes coach Dave Tippett said. The Coyotes needed Ribeiros big night after a couple of defensive miscues allowed the Flames back into a game they had been dominated in for most of the first two periods. Sluggish after facing Los Angeles the night before, Calgary fell behind 2-0 in the second period after Radim Vrbatas 200th career goal and Ribeiros first of the night. The Flames finally found some life late in the second, using a turnover to set up Lee Stempniaks goal in the second period and another that led to Joe Colbornes breakaway goal early in the third. Calgary couldnt sustain it, though, unable to get anything past Mike Smith the rest of the third period to lose for the third time during a five-game road trip that ends at Dallas on Thursday. Jiri Hudler had an assist to extend his season-opening points streak to nine games for the Flames. "The first period, we didnt skate very well, I felt our energy level was not very good, we were not throwing enough pucks at the net," Flames coach Bob Hartley said. "The second period, we got going. I really liked our last 40 minutes. We gave ourselves a chance to win the game." Phoenix wanted to jump on the Flames early after they played the night before and did just that, scoring on a power play when Vrbata gathered a pass from Keith Yandle and wristed it past Joey MacDonald from the right circle for his fifth goal of the season. Phoenix was at its defensive best early on as well, blocking shots and pushing the Flames toward the boards while holding them to three shots in the first period. Ribeiro made it 2-0 in the second period, raising his stick waist high to deflect a shot by Mikkel Boedker past MacDonald. "They took it to us in the first period," Stempniak said. "I didnt think we played very well, lost a lot of puck battles. Calgary finally showed some life late in the second period, with Stempniak scoring late on a rebound and Colborne tying it early in the third. Ribeiro came through again less than three minutes later. Set up to the right of MacDonald, he ripped a one-timer from a tough angle on another crossing pass from Yandle, putting the Coyotes up 3-2 with his fifth of the season. The Flames tried to generate a final push, but Smith made some big saves and Klinkhammer sealed Phoenixs victory with his fourth of the season. "It wasnt a masterpiece, lets put it that way," Tippett said. "It was a quirky game that could have gone a lot of different ways." It ended up in Phoenixs favour, thanks to Ribeiro. NOTES: Both teams played without their captains. Phoenixs Shane Doan was out with a lower-body injury and Calgarys Mark Giordano was scratched after leaving during pregame warm-ups. ... The Coyotes recalled F Brandon Yip before the game and sent F Tim Kennedy to Portland of the AHL before the game. Yip started in place of Doan. ... Hudler has 12 points in nine games this season. Bruno Fitpaldo led Uruguay (2-2) with 18 points in a game that started five hours late due to a power outage. The Canadians will play Mexico on Thursday in their first game of the tournaments second phase. Canada built a healthy 29-11 lead after one quarter. Joseph led Canada in the opening 12 minutes with 10 points and four assists. By the end of the half Canada had more than doubled Uruguay with a 51-25 advantage. Nicholson carried the scoring load for the Canadians in the second quarter, finishing the half with 13 points. Uruguay played better in the second half, but Canada still added to its lead, outscoring their opponents 24-23 in the third quarter. The final quarter was the only period where Uruguay out-played Canada. The South Americans bested the Canadians 19-18 in the fourth. Canada has four NBA players on its roster for the tournament. SEATTLE -- Keith Price threw for 213 yards and three touchdowns in less than a half, Deontae Cooper scored his first career touchdown after three major knee surgeries, and No. 17 Washington routed Idaho State 56-0 on Saturday in the Huskies final tuneup before the start of Pac-12 Conference play. Bishop Sankey, the national leader in yards rushing per game, barely broke a sweat against the Bengals (2-1) of the FCS. Sankey saw action on the Huskies (3-0) first three series and scored on a 3-yard TD run in the first quarter. Sankey finished with 77 yards on four carries. Price played a little more than 1 1/2 quarters, throwing TD passes of 1, 6 and 5 yards and adding a 1-yard TD run as the Huskies led 42-0 at halftime. It was the second straight season the Huskies overwhelmed a lower division opponent in the first half. Last year, Washington led Portland State 45-0 at halftime. Washington has won its first three games for the first time since 2001 when it started 4-0. The team reopened Husky Stadium by dominating Boise State, earned its first non-conference road win since 2007 by winning at Illinois last week, and got backups playing time against the Bengals. The real test for Washington begins next week when Arizona visits Seattle to open Pac-12 play. It starts a brutal four-game stretch to conference play that is followed by a game at Stanford, home for Oregon, and at Arizona State. That upcoming challenge, as much as the opponent, was the reason Sankeys day was so limited. Washington coach Steve Sarkisian said earlier this week the 35 carries Sankey had against Illinois were too many. Sankey had runs of 36, 3, 16 and 22 yards before calling it a day and turn the running load over to a deep stable of backups. Jesse Callier had an 8-yard TD run in the first quarter, but Coopers first TD was the highlight. Cooper scored on a 4-yard run on the first play of the fourth quarter with the remaining crowd erupting in cheers. Cooper was a highly regarded recruit coming out of high school and has come back from three ACL injuries. Saturday was the most extensive action of his career against the Bengals with 14 carries for 59 yards. Freshman John Ross also got to show off his speed, taking a screen pass from Cyler Miles 57 yards for a touchdown midway through the third quarter. Miles ended up Washingtons leading rusher with 89 yards on four carries. The Huskies 680 total offensive yards were second-most in school history. But Sarkisian will have plenty to bark about. Washington was sloppy with penalties for the second straight week with two touchdowns called back. The Huskies were penalized 16 times. Idaho State lost its 19th straight game to FBS opponents and hasnt knocked off a higher-division squad since beating Utah State in 2000. The Bengals were coming off a pair of wins over Division II opponents, and Justin Arias began the day as the FCS leader in yards passing per game at 434. But the Bengals undersized offensive line couldnt match Washingtons power and speed, and Arias was under pressure all afternoon. He was sacked five times in the first half and missed on his first six passes before finding Broc Malcolm on a 5-yard completion early in the second quarter. Idaho State spent most of the first half with negative total yards and finished the half with just 20 yards of offence. Arias finished 18 of 39 for 140 yards and two interceptions. Substitute Fabio Quagliarella thought he had won it for Juventus with an 87th-minute header but Umut Bulut immediately equalized. A blunder from Juve defender Leonardo Bonucci had gifted Didier Drogba the opener for Galatasaray in the 36th minute before Arturo Vidal levelled from the penalty spot after Quagliarella was adjudged to have been fouled by Nordin Amrabat. "Im disappointed," Juventus coach Antonio Conte said. "But the most bitterness and regret comes from the second goal, because giving away a goal straight from the restart after we scored in the 87th is something quite unusual and strange. We drew a game which we really deserved to win." Conte described it as an "awful result." "We need to really, really fight. It will be a lot harder than last year, a lot, lot harder," he said. "A hard path became so much harder because of two defensive mistakes. We shouldnt despair, we have four games left, we have to grit our teeth. If were good well get through." Next up for Juventus is a double header against Real Madrid, which beat Galatasaray 6-1 in its opening match and won 4-0 at home to FC Cophenhagen on Wednesday to take firm control of Group B. "I dont think Real Madrid will beat Juventus twice," Mancini said. "Ive seen them twice recently and dont think theyre in form really. Well try to do very well against Copenhagen but we need to improve on tonight and play better. I think the group is still very open." Former Inter Milan and Manchester City coach Mancini was confirmed as Fatih Terims replacement at Galatasaray on Monday and only met the squad shortly before their flight to Italy. "The only advantage I had was that of knowing Juventus," Mancini said. "I didnt know my players so had to get to know them quickly, had to learn their names quickly. I would definitely have signed for a draw before the match, even though I always think you should go for a win. "We were unlucky with the penalty, I dont think it was a penalty. We defended well and its not easy to defend against a team like Juventus, then the game changed with the penalty." Both teams had endured a disappointing start to their European campaigns and they started cautiously in Turinn.dddddddddddd Juventus had the first real opportunity in the 15th minute, but Paul Pogba slipped as he attempted an audacious overhead kick and missed the ball completely. That seemed to spark the game into life and Drogba almost put Galatasaray in front four minutes later with a shot from a tight angle which Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon cleared with his foot. A setback followed shortly afterward for Juventus when Mirko Vucinic beat the offside trap to race onto a delightful chipped pass by Andrea Pirlo, but stumbled and injured himself in the process. Vucinic was replaced minutes later by Quagliarella, while Galatasaray defender Semih Kaya made way for Gokhan Zan. Quagliarella had an opportunity with his first touch in the 28th minute as he prodded a cross narrowly past the left post. The Juventus forward was caught up in a tangle with Zan as he struck the ball but the referee rejected his furious claims for a penalty. Galatasaray broke the deadlock when Bonucci woefully misplaced a back pass, giving it straight to Drogba, who easily bypassed the outrushing Buffon to slot into an empty net. Juventus could have levelled quickly but Carlos Tevezs fierce shot scraped the outside of the right post moments later. And Galatasaray could have extended its lead when Wesley Sneijder was left completely unmarked and blazed well over the crossbar from just inside the area. Arturo Vidal went close as he twice fired narrowly over the crossbar in quick succession. Conte brought on Fernando Llorente for his Champions League debut and the Spaniard almost headed Juventus in front moments later but his effort also went just over the crossbar from close range. Juventus did level in the 77th minute when Quagliarella made the most of a mistimed challenge from fellow substitute Amrabat and Vidal blasted home the spot kick. Llorente had the ball in the back of the net in the 84th but it was ruled out as Tevez was offside in the buildup. Juventus had come from behind to win two of its previous three league games and it looked like doing so again when Quagliarella headed home Pirlos cross from close range four minutes from time. However, a Galatasaray counter attack led to an 88th-minute equalizer as Drogba took advantage of gaps in the Juventus defence to pick out an unmarked Bulut on the far side of goal. Llorente missed a chance for Juventus in stoppage time when he toe-poked the ball wide of the right post. TORONTO – Peter Holland was riding the GO train just a couple days after he was traded to play for his hometown Maple Leafs when he was recognized by a fan. It was the kind of surreal moment that made life playing at home all the more real. "That never wouldve happened in Anaheim, California," Holland, a native of Caledon, told the Leaf Report with a chuckle. "That was pretty cool." No longer on the west coast with the Ducks, the 22-year-old enjoyed the biggest night of his NHL career in front of the hometown crowd on the Saturday night stage. With his parents and childhood skills coach (Joey Simon from Powerhouse Hockey) in the stands, Holland scored twice and added a helper as Toronto stunned the defending champion Chicago Blackhawks 7-3 at the ACC. It was the clubs first win in regulation since Nov. 19 and third in the past 20 games. Moved up in the lineup onto a unit with Joffrey Lupul and Mason Raymond – David Clarkson was serving the first of a two-game suspension – Holland scored his fourth this season and first of the game on an early power-play, notching his second on a tic-tac-toe feed from Lupul and Raymond. He would add an assist on the second of two goals from Lupul. "Theyve given me a good opportunity here and I think that as long as Im playing my game I think I have the ability to play at this level," said Holland, acquired from Anaheim in mid-November. "Obviously playing with guys like Lupul and Raymond is going to help me stick around too." A first round pick of the Ducks in 2009, Holland nearly doubled his season output with the standout performance against Chicago, now at five goals and seven points in 16 games this season. With injuries plaguing the Leafs at centre ice – Dave Bolland and Tyler Bozak are both sidelined – opportunity is there for someone like Holland to grab hold of. To this point, he had offered only brief glimpses of the skill his pedigree would infer. But with more opportunity – a career-high of over 19 minutes – he was able to show it off in a big way against the Blackhawks. "Im just kind of approaching it like its a job and it is a job," Holland said. As to the chance to play at home, after bouncing between outposts in Syracuse, Norfolk and Anaheim, Holland said its been more comfort than distraction. "If anything I think it almost relieves pressure," he said. "Youve got more of a support network around you. Its a thrill to play in front of them every night. Going back to minor hockey when your parents came to every game, driving you there and stuff, and now they can come to every home game here. Its a good feeling." Five Points 1. Response from St. Louis Only two days before shocking the Blackhawks at home, the Leafs were embarrassed on the road by the Blues. It was their eighth loss in 10 games and among the worst efforts of the year. "Off our performance in St. Louis we could not have anything close to that again," said Randy Carlyle following the win against Chicago, the leagues top team again this season. "They werent very proud of our performance. They knew that we didnt do a lot of things that we set out to do. "I thought that our hockey club responded the way they needed to respond," he continued. "They took responsibility for our actions and thats a good sign. But the most encouraging thing for us tonight was our work ethic and we stuck to our system and played it." Trekking through their most arduous portion of the schedule – which has included the Sharks, Bruins, Kings, Blues, and Blackhawks – the Leafs now face another top team in Pittsburgh on Monday. "It doesnt get any easier," said Lupul, who had four points on Saturday, "but certainly winning a game against the top team in the league gives you a little bit of confidence so hopefully we can run with it." 2. Cycle Offence Though they generated the bulk of their offence off the rush, the Leafs did manage to sustain bursts of the cycle game Carlyle has been pleading for. The fourth goal of the evening, and fourth this season from Nik Kulemin, found its way into the back of the net off such an attack. "Weve been striving for that," said Carlyle. "And in the games that we are effective it seems that we have more of that in the hockey game. Thats really what were trying to do is were trying to eliminate a one-dimensional rush team." That rush game was certainly effective, notably the line of Holland, Lupul and Raymond. "When you start to wear teams down, if you play more in their zone, your rush game becomes more effective," Carlyle said. "The players will tell you, they never get tired playing in that zone. Theyre not receiving the game. When youre attacking and youre creating more offensive zone time its a better feeling." The Leafs also benefited on this night from scoring beyond their top unit. Phil Kessel would score the seventh and final Toronto goal, his 17th this season, but the remainder of the offence came from the second and third lines. Pegged to slow down the Blackhawks imposing top trio of Patrick Sharp, Jonathan Toews, and Marian Hossa, the third line of Kulemin, Jerry DAmigo, and Jay McClement scored twice while holding their opponents off the scoresheet. "They did a heck of a job for us," said Carlyle. 3. Playing at Home In addition to the unlikely meet and greet with the fan on the GO Train, Holland said the second surreal moment of playing at home came when he put on the Leafs jersey for the first time, one he wore as a fan growing up. "I kind of let that sink in for a couple seconds there because that was a dream come true for sure," he said. Holland often made it down to Leafs games as a kid, mostly at the old Maple Leaf Gardens. "Some of my fondest memories were actually at the Garden," said Holland. "I was in there bleeding blue and white with the fans growing up." 4. Defensive Confusion A frequent frustration for Carlyle in recent weeks has been the rising tide of goals scored against from the critical areas or the zone surrounding the goal. "Its taking care of the front of your net before anywhere else," John-Michael Liles said of such improvement, prior to Saturdays game. "Ultimately, most teams are trying to draw you out of those critical areas so they can get the puck into those critical areas. Its no different than any other sport." Liles compared the tactic to soccer or basketball (where quality outside shooters draw defenders from the basket), noting the desire of an offence to space the defence out and away from the respective goal. "Its that movement (of) trying to confuse," he said. Defensive improvement stands high atop the Leafs priorities. During their ongoing struggle, theyve allowed three goals or more in 13 of 20 games, losing all but two of those games (including on Saturday). "Were trying to implement a defensive zone coverage that we can hang our hat on," said Carlyle. "Once you play better defensively then you start to become more of a team that (attacks) versus receiving the game. Thats really what has happened with our hockey club, I would say specifically in the last 15 games, is weve been receiving more than weve been attacking." 5. Shake-Up For the first time all season neither Paul Ranger nor Mark Fraser was in the lineup for the Leafs. A new-look third pairing of some speed and some skill saw John-Michael Liles paired with Morgan Rielly. The adjustment appeared an early success. "I thought they did a good job from a standpoint of we played our system and we moved the puck pretty much worrisome-free other than about five or six minutes in the second period," said Carlyle of the group. The Toronto defence has been a source of instability all season. Only one pairing has remained a constant from start to present: Carl Gunnarsson and Dion Phaneuf (save for Phaneufs recent two-game suspension). Asked prior to Saturdays game if he would consider splitting the two as he did last season – and thus balancing the group –Carlyle said no. "Its been an experiment that we felt it failed," said Carlyle. "We werent happy with that. I would say at this point we think that theyre our go-to pair. Right now, I dont think thats a possibility for us … But coaches change their minds." Searching for balance, Carlyle split Gunnarsson and Phaneuf for the first 28 games last season with Phaneuf playing alongside Korbinian Holzer and current Blackhawk Michael Kostka. By mid-March though he abandoned the plan and reconnected the teams usual top pairing. Bonus Point – Bolland Update A bit of positive news amid a difficult stretch for the Leafs saw Dave Bolland off crutches this week and walking around the Air Canada Centre on Saturday morning. "The update is that hes progressing along at the expected rate," said Carlyle without offering any concrete timeline. "Theres no great difference in where hes at versus where we thought he was going to be. Hes not ahead of schedule, hes right on schedule right now." Stats-Pack 7 - Goals for the Leafs against Chicago, a season-high. 3 - Points from Peter Holland, a career-high. 4 – Assists for Mason Raymond against Chicago, a career-high. Raymond also surpassed the 22 points he had in 46 games last season. He now has 24 points in 34 games. 19:22 – Ice-time for Holland, also a career-high. 5 – Points for Jake Gardiner in December. He had six points combined in October and November. 1 - Career NHL goal for Jerry DAmigo. DAmigo also added an assist against the Blackhawks. 2 - Goals from the Leafs third line, who also held Chicagos top unit scoreless. 9 – Games without a goal for Joffrey Lupul prior to a two-goal outing on Saturday. Lupul hadnt scored since Nov. 9 in Boston. Kimbrel, 25, avoided salary arbitration. He was the last Braves player eligible for arbitration. Kimbrel gets a $1 million signing bonus and salaries of $7 million this year, $9 million in 2015, $11 million in 2016 and $13 million in 2017. The Braves have a $13 million option for 2018 with a $1 million buyout. "We are very excited to agree to terms with Craig, who we feel is the best closer in Major League Baseball," Braves general manager Frank Wren said. "He is one of the key pieces of our pitching staff and we are happy to keep him in a Braves uniform for at least four more years." Kimbrels arbitration hearing had been set for Monday. The Braves offered $6.55 million and Kimbrel asked for $9 million. The Braves have been busy locking up some of their top young players and avoiding arbitration with long-term contracts. The deal with Kimbrel came only two days after the Braves and right-hander Julio Teheran, 23, agreed to terms on a six-year, $32.4 million contract on Friday. The deal includes a club option for the 2020 season. Earlier this month, the Braves announced multi-year deals with a pair of 24-year-old hitters -- first baseman Freddie Freeman and outfielder Jason Heyward. Freeman agreed to the biggest contract in Brraves history -- $135 million for eight years.dddddddddddd Heywards contract is for two years and $13.3 million. The agreement with Kimbrel allows the Braves to retain one of baseballs most dominant closers. He has 138 saves in the last three seasons, including 50 saves with a 1.21 ERA and 98 strikeouts in 67 innings last year. He earned one save in 2010 as his introduction to his run of three straight All-Star seasons in 2011-13. Kimbrel has a 1.39 ERA with 381 strikeouts in 227 1-3 career innings. The hard-throwing right-hander has been successful in 139 of 154 career saves opportunities. Kimbrel, from Huntsville, Ala., said he wanted to remain close to home. "Im very excited," Kimbrel told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "If I didnt want to be here, this wouldnt be going on. Were playing to win. This is where I want to be." Kimbrel can add value to his contract through a points system. He would earn five points each time hes an All-Star, 10 for winning a Cy Young Award, five for finishing second or third in Cy Young, three for finishing fourth or fifth in Cy Young, five for being the top Cy Young voter-getter among pitchers with fewer than five starts; 10 for winning an MVP award, five for finishing second or third in MVP, third for finishing fourth or fifth in MVP, and three for each season with 57 or more games finished. Kimbrel would be paid $1 million for 20 points and $500,000 for each additional five points through 45. FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Geno Smith has been inconsistent and promising at the same time for the New York Jets. Theyre hoping Smith is more often what they saw last Sunday, when he led the Jets to a 30-27 overtime victory over the New England Patriots. After an early interception was returned for a touchdown, Smith rebounded in a big way by bringing the Jets back from a 21-10 halftime deficit. He became the only quarterback since the 1970 NFL-AFL merger with four winning drives in the fourth quarter or overtime in his first seven games. There are surprises among the Vezina candidates, but most of the others are standard top-tier performers, even if the two Hart Trophy runners-ups have never been quite as good as they have been through the first half of the season. INDIANAPOLIS -- Andrew Luck and Robert Mathis finally got the Colts out of their funk and back into their playoff groove Sunday. All they have to do now is keep playing this way. Luck threw two touchdown passes, Mathis broke the Colts single-season and career records for sacks by forcing a safety in the second half and the Colts rolled past Houston 25-3 in their best overall performance in two months. "We needed it," coach Chuck Pagano said. "We talked all week about coming back and even though we had clinched the division, we wanted to start building or gaining some momentum." Houston (2-12) extended its franchise-record losing streak to 12 and fell to 0-12 all-time in Indy. The timing for the Colts late-season turnaround couldnt be better. After losing 42-28 at Cincinnati last week, the Colts (9-5) learned on the bus trip home they had clinched the AFC South title when Denver beat Tennessee. At the time, it looked as if the Colts would be locked into the No. 4 seed and would have little to play for. But with Denver (11-3) losing Thursday night, New England (10-4) losing Sunday at Miami, Indy winning and Cincinnati playing Sunday night at Pittsburgh, the door has cracked just a bit -- if the Colts win their final two games. The problem, from November through Sunday, was that Indy had not played anywhere near well enough to string back-to-back wins together. Over those previous six games, Indy lost three times by at least two touchdowns and was outscored 114-24 in the first halves. Things suddenly changed dramatically. Luck went up-tempo right from the start and used a heavy dose of bubble screens to open things up down the field. It worked well. He finished 19 of 32 for 180 yards with the two first-half TD passes that gave the Colts a 20-3 halftime lead. Indy played without two starting offensive linemen, lost replacement starter Joe Reitz with a concussion on the opening series and lost running back Donald Brown with a stinger later in the first half. "We practice it," Luck said of the decision to go no-huddle early. "We have had some success with two-minute hurry up so its good to come out and do that." The defence forced punts and turnovers and got a safety on Mathis record-breaking sack. Punt returner Griff& Whalen even set up a score with a 51-yard return.dddddddddddd But the excitement was muted. They still settled for three field goals and Luck was picked off in the red zone when he tried to force a ball into coverage. "We looked like a team that lost 11 in a row playing a good football team," interim coach Wade Phillips said in his first game since Gary Kubiak was fired. "I thought we could compete with them, but we didnt do a good job of that." Most of Houstons problems were self-inflicted, again. Case Keenum was 18 of 34 for 168 yards with two interceptions and no touchdowns. Andre Johnson, who needed five catches for another 100-reception, caught four balls for 18 yards. Ben Tate rushed 16 times for 72 yards and was fortunate not to lose a fumble. Houston also finished with 14 penalties, 10 in the first half. "That was bad today," said Keenum, whose fumble was recovered in the end zone by left tackle Duane Brown after Mathis strip sack. "My teammates deserve better, my coaches deserve better. Our fans deserve better." Luck opened the game by throwing a 14-yard TD pass to Whalen for Indys first opening-drive touchdown since Week 3. After Houstons Randy Bullock made a 49-yard field goal, Darius Butler picked off Keenum to set up Adam Vinatieris 37-yard kick. Luck made it 17-3 when he faked another receiver screen, then flipped the ball on a shovel pass to Trent Richardson for a 9-yard score. And after Butlers second interception, Vinatieri made a 43-yard field goal and Indy led 20-3. "We played good football today, kept the mistakes to a minimum and were just able to get after it," Mathis said. "A little bit of stuff here and there we can improve on, but for the most part, good football." Notes: Mathis, the NFL sacks leader, has 16 1/2 this season and 108 in his career. Longtime teammate and close friend Dwight Freeney held the Colts previous marks, getting 16 in 2004 and 107 1/2 in his career. ... Houstons 12-game losing streak is the citys professional football record. ... The Colts have gone 29 consecutive games without back-to-back losses. ... THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -- Zach Johnson is like most players at the World Challenge, not sure whether hes still playing in 2013 or if hes in the middle of the new wraparound season that officially started in October. All he knows is that hes leading. Johnson, who already has two official PGA Tour events under his belt in the "new season," came out a few days early to the unofficial World Challenge to work on new equipment with Titleist at its test centre in Carlsbad, and to meet with his team of coaches to outline goals for 2014 and to identify weakness. One priority is to score better on the par 5s, and Johnson wasted little time on that. Sherwood has five par 5s. He made birdie on four of them for a 5-under 67, giving him a one-shot lead over Matt Kuchar. Hunter Mahan and Bubba Watson were at 70, while tournament host Tiger Woods missed short putts at the beginning and end of his round and had to settle for a 71. "A highlight that were looking into next year is trying to play those holes a little bit better," Johnson said of the par 5s. "I dont know what I did that today. I hit it close. I had good shots in there with the proper spin, nothing more than that. But youve got to take advantage of them. Youve got five of them. The thing is ... one errant shot, youre staring a 6 right in the face, if not more. Theres a lot of penal areas." Johnson said he still considers Kapalua to be the start of the season. Woods, meanwhile, is still trying to get his head around the schedule change. He hasnt played an official tournament in the 2013-14 season. The only event he played was the Turkish Open, where he tied for third in the European Tour event. After this week, he wont play again until Torrey Pines at the end of January. Thats his usual starting point, except that the PGA Tour already has had six guys win tournaments. "To me, Im still on the old calendar, so to me this is the end of the year," Woods said. "I know that Im going to be pretty far behind on points by the time I tee up again, and thats just kind of the way its going to be. ... But you have the entire summer, you have the entire major championship season, you have the big events and then the playoffs. Anything can happen. But its going to be interesting to see how far behind some of us are when we start." This sure didnt feel like summer. The temperature was in the upper 20s before the sun came up in the foothills of the Santa Monica mountains. There was a one-hour frost delay. A combination of firm turf, chilly weather, some breeze and firm greens made for tough scoring, and it showed. Steve Stricker was among those under par until a bogey-bogey-double bogey finish put him at 75. Jordan Spieth, coming off a sensational rookie season and playing for the first time since the HSBC Champions in Shanghai a month ago, had a 77 and was last in the field. Jason Day, who won the individual and team title at the World Cup two weeks ago at Royal Melbourne, had a 76. Rory McIlroy, with girlfriend Caroline Wozniacki following him, was hopeful of building momentum from his first win of the year last week in the Australian Open. He missed a few short putts, found the water on the par-3 15th and had a 73. He played with defending champion Graeme McDowell, who had a 72. McDowell saw a note that his last eight rounds at Sherwood were in the 60s. That streak ended Thursday, though for good reason. "The course hasnt been this tough in a couple years," McDowell said. "The scoring reflects that. The greens are much firmer. The speed of them caught me by surprise a little bit today. My speed was a little clumsy, and it showed today on the greens." This is the final year the tournament is being played at Sherwood. It moves to Isleworth just outside Orlando, Fla., next year. Any rust Woods felt had to do with the greens, which he said showed on some of his putts. "I made a few mistakes today," Woods said. "I also hit a couple of good shots that ended up in some interesting spots. That can happen out there. I shot about the score ... maybe could have gotten one or two more out of it." Johnson had few complaints. He opened with two birdies, and then surged ahead on the back nine with five birdies in a seven-hole stretch, three of them on the par 5s. Johnson has a pair of runner-up finishes at this event, and with the tournament moving, this is his last shot at Sherwood. "I did everything decent," he said. "Just a real solid day all around. I was aggressive when I needed to be aggressive, and I was conservative when I needed to be conservative. Its nothing more than a decent start."   on that. Unlike many players who say theyre unaware of their own stats, Toronto Argonauts cornerback Pat Watkins not only knows he has a CFL-high five interceptions, but readily admits he wants to end the season as its No. 1 ballhawk. "Yeah, I found out Im leading the league in interceptions," Watkins said following practice Tuesday. "Thats something Im going to continue to strive for and try to lead the league as well as set a personal best as far as the CFL goes." Watkins, 30, is also aware of how many more interceptions he needs to make 2013 a career campaign. "Last year I had five," Watkins said. "Its easy when you only have five . . . I can count that on one hand. "Its one of those things that no matter what happens whether its good or bad, positive or negative Im going to continue to strive to be the best I can be personally as an athlete, football player and a coachs player." The six-foot-five, 205-pound Watkins has been very good since joining the Argos last season. A CFL all-star in 2012, Watkins five picks left him tied with safety Jordan Younger -- who retired prior to this season -- for most on the team and just one behind league-leader Joe Burnett of the Edmonton Eskimos. Watkins had four interceptions in the NFL with Dallas (2006-09) and San Diego (2010) before coming to Toronto. He also added 67 tackles and two fumble recoveries last year and through 13 games has 30 tackles, two sacks and two fumble recoveries. Watkins was a one-man show Sunday, registering two tackles, two interceptions, a sack, forced fumble and fumble recovery as Toronto rallied from a 21-point deficit to beat Edmonton 34-22. With that, the Argos (9-4, first in East Division) became the first CFL team ever to win all four games of a four-game road trip. "I still havent watched the defensive film but it was impressive enough watching on the sidelines to know Pat was the player of the game," Argos head coach Scott Milanovich said. "Pats our leader in the secondary now and we need him to make those plays. "Hes one of our defensive captains and I think hes kind of feeling like he needs to be accountable for whats going on back there." Watkins watched Torontos 35-22 win over Calgary in the 100th Grey Cup at Rogers Centre last November because of a foot injury. With eight starters from that defence having moved on, the Argos are counting heavily on Watkins and linebackers Robert McCune and Marcus Ball to lead this years young unit. "He has grown as a leader," Milanovich said of Watkins. "I think those three guys (Watkins, Ball and McCune) in particular have and (former B.C. defensive tackle Khalif Mitchell) has done a great job as well. "When the opportunity presents itself guys will step up and I think thats what has happened. It took a little while but I think thheyre going in the right direction.dddddddddddd" Watkins certainly is with three interceptions in Torontos last two games. But defensive co-ordinator Chris Jones said Watkins versatility gives him plenty of options in drawing up the weekly gameplan. "He does a great job in our scheme, he does what we ask him to do," Jones said. "We play a lot of zone coverage, we put him in different matchups where hes having to defend in the slot and at corner." Watkins has the size and speed to excel in one-on-one coverage on the outside at cornerback. But the former Florida State star also has the athleticism to defend against slotbacks who have the advantage of a running start at the snap of the ball. "A lot of guys Ive had in the past didnt have the ability to get out on the slot, its something thats learned," Jones said. "When you can cover that motion and do go back to being a stationary guy (at cornerback), its a little simpler." When a cornerback is dominant in both pass and run defence, has the versatility to effectively cover any receiver and continually makes big plays, hes often dubbed a "shutdown corner." But its not a title Watkins readily wants or is chasing. "I dont try to put that pressure on myself," he said. "I just try to compete to the best of my ability, play within the scheme of the defence and do what the coaches ask me. "I cant say Im a shutdown corner. Im just going to play the best I can and continue to improve." It seems opposing quarterbacks have noticed as Watkins says he hasnt seen as many passes this year as he did in 2012. But that hasnt forced him to change his mindset when he steps on to the football field. "In the back of my mind I feel every ball is coming my way," he said. "So I have to be prepared and act like all the balls are coming my way." Watkins said he isnt playing with a chip on his shoulder or the feeling he has something to prove because he didnt suit up in last years Grey Cup. Hes more than content with his contribution to helping Toronto earn its first CFL title since 04. "We won and thats what a team does, a team isnt about one player," he said. "Its a gratifying feeling to know even with me down the team continued to play on and we won. "I cant hold my head about that, I did the best I could to get us there and the team finished it off. I was on the sidelines cheering because I knew we were going to party afterwards and I didnt want to miss it." NOTES -- Argos quarterback Ricky Ray practised Tuesday and looked good throwing the football. Milanovich said Ray continues to recover from a shoulder injury but couldnt provide an update as to when he might resume playing. Receiver Chad Owens (ribs) also practised and Milanovich said the CFLs 2012 outstanding player is a "maybe" for Friday nights home game against Hamilton. Kuznetsov, who was selected by the Capitals in the first round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, has been playing for his hometown team Chelyabinsk Traktor of the KHL.NEW YORK -- A big game for Angel Pagan left the San Francisco Giants lamenting where they might be in the standings if their leadoff hitter was healthy all season.
